My husband is a book full of great advice and yesterday let me know that eating protein after a work out is good for you so after my work out I ate an egg with a piece of toast, light laughing cow cheese (omg this stuff is the bomb[i know who says the bomb anymore?]...35 calories for a lot of cheese), fresh basil (only because I have 13 basil plants), and tomato. It was the best open faced sandwich ever!!
I really try to pay attention to where my 1200 (or more when I run) calories go. I am trying to make sure the correct amount goes to protein and fiber.
Well I am going to go drink 4 glasses of water and try to sweat it out in the shower.
